Digitalization issues in SMEs
The Brightlands Digitale Werkplaats MKB is an initiative of the Brightlands Smart Services Campus that brings together supply and demand in the field of digitization of SMEs. The workshop will function as an umbrella counter where entrepreneurs can go with their digitization questions.
The entrepreneurs will then be linked to our community of experts (companies and knowledge institutions) and SME initiatives (including the SME Data Lab and the Cyber Resilience Expertise Centre). Those experts formulate a joint offer towards the entrepreneurs based on their specific question or problem and then take that entrepreneur a step further in their digitization process.
In addition, the experts on the campus develop specific propositions in areas such as cyber security or data analytics. In this way we try to offer the possibilities of digitization ready-made. The workshop will also have a physical location on the campus in Heerlen where entrepreneurs can go to be inspired to digitize. This will make the workshop a low-threshold one-stop shop for digitization issues from SMEs.
