Support International Business (SIB) is a grant that funds your activities to increase your business opportunities in a specific foreign country, your target country. You can apply for grants for various SIB activities. For example, for an expert to help you make your market entry, or for trade fair participation or export training. You can apply for this grant from January 7, 2025 to December 31, 2025, as long as there is budget available.
Please note that the 2025 budget is almost exhausted. New budget will be available starting January 2026. You can then apply again.
What do you want to apply for a subsidy for?
Help with my market entry
You start, with the help of an external expert, to set up new activities in your target country. These are aimed at positioning your product or service. The expert introduces you to relevant local parties in the target country, among others.
Subsidy amount: 50% of the costs up to a maximum of €2,500.

Gain knowledge and skills
With an expert, you gain knowledge about the legal and tax situation in your target country. You can also commission a market survey on the sector in the target country.
Subsidy amount: 50% of the costs to a maximum of €2,500.
Export training and coaching
You increase your knowledge of international business with export training. Or you may choose to spar with a coach about your export issues. After the training or coaching, you will have enough knowledge to write your own export plan, for example.
Subsidy amount: 50% of the cost up to a maximum of €2,500 for export training and €1,000 for coaching.
Individual scholarship participation
You participate individually with your own company in a trade show in a specific country. Your goal is to promote your product or service to potential customers in your target country. You will also get in touch with cooperation partners and investors this way.
Subsidy amount: 50% of costs up to a maximum of €2,500.
Together to trade missions and fairs
You are participating with other companies in a mission or trade show in a specific country. Your goal is to promote your product or service to potential customers in your target country. You also get in touch with cooperation partners and investors this way.
Subsidy amount: 50% of the costs up to a maximum of €1,500 for a trade mission and €2,500 for trade fair participation.
Searching for alternative markets
Are you affected by the war in Ukraine or the sanctions against Russia and the resulting trade restrictions? One way to use this grant is to look for a replacement market.
Subsidy amount: 80% of the costs to a maximum of €2,500.
