The Most Attractive Employer of Limburg 2026 gets underway!

In January 2026, the eleventh edition of the election Most Attractive Employer of Limburg will start! After a successful anniversary edition in 2025 in which Met GGZ (large company) and Door Groep (SME) won the top prizes, we are gearing up for a new year full of inspiring stories and strong examples of being an attractive employer. This is the time for companies to make their work culture visible and position themselves as an employer of choice in the region.

The election has two main goals. On the one hand we want to help employers to become visible among young talent in Limburg and the Euregion in a contemporary and accessible way. On the other hand, we want to reward and recognize companies for their efforts in the field of employer branding: from innovative campaigns to inspiring leadership, from development opportunities to a strong corporate culture. The title 'Most Attractive Employer of Limburg' is thus more than a public award, it is a recognition for organizations that dare to stand out.

In 2026 we will add a new dimension to the election: a separate category for companies from Belgian Limburg. With this we are further building cross-border cooperation within the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. In total there are now four categories: SMEs, Medium-sized companies, Large companies and Belgian Limburg. As in previous years, companies that have previously participated are automatically re-entered. Don't want to participate this year? Just let us know and we will remove your profile.

In order to increase the visibility of participating companies, large-scale promotional campaigns will be used again this year. Radio commercials will be broadcast via Qmusic Limburg and powerful social media campaigns will be set up in collaboration with Web Wings. In addition, companies can once again participate in the popular Instagram Challenge, which focuses on creativity and interaction with young people.

Participation in the election not only provides extra visibility, but also strengthens your employer branding, internal pride and offers plenty of inspiration for labor market communication. Moreover, it often leads to a higher influx of applications, more online reach and involvement within your own organization. Whether you are a small organization with big ambitions or an established name in the region: every company that dares to profile itself contributes to a stronger employer climate in Limburg.
