BIZ Aviation Valley will receive 200,000 euros in COVER subsidy to implement sustainable mobility measures together with the municipality of Beek and Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar. In 2026 cooperating entrepreneurs on business parks can apply through RVO. Seize this opportunity to take concrete steps together toward a more sustainable and accessible work environment.

The COVER subsidy offers financial support to SME collectives for implementing measures that contribute to more sustainable commuting or business travel. As an entrepreneur you can benefit directly from this: by working together within your business park you improve accessibility, reduce the required staffing and associated costs, and contribute to sustainable business. An additional advantage is that the level of organization on your business park will increase, making it easier for you to collaborate on cross-company themes in the future.

This way, as a collective, you contribute to CO₂ reduction goals from the Climate Agreement.

In short: the COVER grant is the opportunity to work with other entrepreneurs to boost sustainable mobility on your business park with both financial and expert support. Don't miss this opportunity to make your company visible as a leader in sustainable accessibility.

What can you do with the grant?

The grant offers financial scope to take measures that reduce car use and encourage sustainable alternatives. Think about:

  • Commonly purchase private transportation (such as shuttle buses, shared bicycles or shared cars) for your employees;

  • Offering leased bicycles as a condition of employment and improving bicycle parking;

  • Encourage carpooling through apps;

  • Develop policies for working from home or hybrid work that fit your business.

Condition: The projects must demonstrably contribute to CO₂ reduction and have a lasting effect. It may also be a side effect, CO₂ reduction does not have to be the main goal of the project.

Practice example: Aviation Valley

At business park Aviation Valley (municipality of Beek), the business association has been awarded a €200,000 grant for sustainable mobility measures. Thanks to a COVER subsidy it is possible to work together with the municipality and Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar to improve bicycle facilities, encourage carpooling and start offering solutions for the 'last mile'. By such an example you see how the collective character and implementation by a joint mobility approach works: you are not alone as an entrepreneur. Together you can make meters.

Support from implementing organizations

South Limburg Bereikbaar, Midden Limburg Bereikbaar and Trendsportal support collectives every step of the way: from idea and project plan to subsidy application and implementation. They help create support, prepare a budget and supervise implementation. They take work off the hands of entrepreneurs. The effect? Projects get off the ground faster.

Why start now?

The next application period for the COVER grant runs from Jan. 13 to Oct. 1, 2026, and grant funds are limited. Don't wait until 2026, start exploring the possibilities for your business park now, together with the implementing organization in your region. That way you will soon be ready to apply for subsidies as soon as the registration opens.
