Zero Emission City Logistics (ZES) is the introduction of a Zero Emission Zone as of 1-1-2025 by the City of Maastricht. Delivery vans and trucks that run on gasoline, diesel or LPG or are hybrids will then no longer be allowed to simply drive in and out of the city center. Fewer CO₂ emissions and fewer kilometers make an important contribution to maintaining healthy, attractive and safe city centers and therefore to economic vitality.
