
Master class 'from beer mat to business plan
The world is changing rapidly. As an entrepreneur, you want to keep up with new developments and are full of ideas. But how do you translate an idea into an innovative product or concept? A great step is to describe your innovation on a beer mat. This forces you to make choices and focus. Filling out the Business Model Canvas is then a lot easier and helps you come up with a good business plan and forms the basis for any grant application.

On Thursday, November 3 and Tuesday, November 8, in Maastricht and Venlo, we are offering a master class for entrepreneurs who want to turn their idea into an innovative product or concept. What does such'a masterclass look like?
We start with a small breakfast
You are welcome from 8:00 am. We welcome you with a nice breakfast and give you the opportunity to network with the other participants beforehand.
Then we get to work
At 9 a.m., the master class begins: - We kick off by explaining how to "tackle innovation on a beer mat." - You will work out your own beer mat and discuss it with a small group of participants. - We will give you a brief explanation of how LIOF can support you and subsidize your idea or innovation.
In the next section you will delve into the perspective of the intended client of your idea: - Who is your customer, what is their challenge and how does your product create added value for them? You delve into the 'Desirability' of your solution and how you are going to verify this. Your idea is already taking shape. - After the session, you will be able to fill in the Business Model Canvas for a grant application, for example.
It doesn't stop with the master class
After this session, you have the option to sign up for the classroom follow-up session or to make a personal appointment with a business developer from LIOF. During the morning, business developers will be present to support you where necessary.
Tasty closing
We will conclude around 12:00 with a sandwich and there will be room to talk after.
