The municipality of Roermond is investigating the introduction of a zero-emission zone specifically for city logistics. City logistics refers to all business delivery and freight traffic in the city, so no private vehicles. Several meetings have already taken place in recent months. On Monday, October 7, 2024, we will hold the final information meeting on this issue and we would like to invite you to think along with us. Your voice counts!
Why is this important?
A zero-emission zone contributes to a cleaner, quieter and safer city. With this zone we reduce CO2 emissions and want to improve livability. It is also part of the Climate Agreement. The city council will decide on the introduction of this zone in December 2024, with a possible start on January 1, 2029.
