During this hackathon, you will work together as a team to come up with an innovative solution to a healthcare challenge in a short period of time.
The teams will consist of different backgrounds such as: a healthcare professional, student, patient, family caregiver, designer, programmer and more! So would you like to work with a fun and diverse team on a solution to one of the submitted challenges? Or do you have a challenge of your own to contribute? Then join us as a Solver or a Challenger!
What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is an event in which solutions to problems are devised in a short period of time. Anyone can submit challenges related to health and happiness in advance. Teams are formed around the selected challenges with people from different backgrounds. During the hackathon, the teams work on their solution ('prototype') in 2-3 days and receive help from coaches and experts.
.With Dutch Hacking Health we bring together technology, design, entrepreneurship, health (care) and experts by experience/patients/clients. In order to:
- come up with appropriate, unexpected solutions .
- promote cross-organizational and cross-domain collaboration
- put human-centered design principles into practice
Everyone can participate!
All ages, professions, cultures and experiences are welcome. You do not have to be an IT specialist or have any specific training. "Hacking" to us means: coming up with solutions. This can be done using technology or data, but doesn't have to be. It is precisely a mix of knowledge and experience that creates new, creative solutions. So everyone is equally valuable within the team. A super team consists, for example, of a student, nurse, hairdresser, designer and programmer.
