End event electric Green Last Mile

The INTERREG project "electric Green Last Mile" (eGLM) focuses on short trips for heavy transport in the region of the European logistics hotspots Venlo (Netherlands) and Duisburg (Germany). Clean, quiet and environmentally friendly transport is the goal.  Over the past six years, all partners have worked hard on eGLM. On November 23, we want to conclude this exciting period by presenting all the results to you. In addition, several guest speakers will give an insight into the latest developments around electric trucking and we will discuss, in a panel discussion, the 'lessons learned' from this project.

Sandor Darretta

"I have dedicated my life to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector. For more than a decade, I have worked on clean energy, alternative transportation fuels and commercial operations."< Sandor Darretta is Global Segment Manager E-Truck at ABB E-Mobility and is focused on the future of global electromobility. During the closing event, Sandor will portray ABB's ecosystem and outline a vision of the future using, among other things, a great example realized in Norway. Sandor is expert & speaker in:

  • E-Trucks

The development in the market

During the closing event, project leader eGLM, Rob Kroon of FIER Automotive & Mobility will tell us more about the developments in the e-trucking market. What are the predictions for the coming years and what can other transport companies learn from this innovative project? The eGLM project started in 2017. What stands out 5 years later? We asked project manager Rob Kroon van FIER and project partner Jan-Willem Tolkamp van LIOF.
