AI for managers: driving smart innovation

Brightlands AI Academy is now introducing a new master class: AI for Managers.

This management track is specially designed for directors and management within the (large) SME in Limburg. Discover the strategic opportunities and threats of artificial intelligence (AI) for your organization and accelerate the adoption process for AI applications in 2 evenings with this intensive training.

As AI Academy, we have noticed that the need for AI knowledge is growing among directors and management, but that they often do not have the time for a comprehensive course like the Brightlands AI Academy. The new learning program 'AI for Managers' offers a solution, as managers get 'up to speed' in just two evenings and thus learn concrete steps for steering when implementing AI applications.

In order to offer participants more added value and allow their case to mature faster, we deploy JADS' Data Science Project Canvas. This model provides the common foundation for lessons and coaching to give participants a structured framework for developing AI models and business cases.

Program

Thursday, October 30: Introduction, opportunities and threats

The first evening includes an introduction of AI as a gamechanger for many existing business models, substantiated by real-world examples. Opportunities and threats for the organizations present will then be identified. Each manager will share ideas for adopting AI within their own organization. A foundation is also laid for getting started on such an idea at home for themselves using the Data Science Project Canvas.

Homework

Give hands on your own idea for an AI application using the Data Science Project Canvas. This will be submitted to AI Academy coaches, who will analyze the ideas and provide feedback.

Thursday, November 20: Reflection and deepening

During the second evening, the completed Data Science Project Canvases will be discussed in order to use them to come up with strategic options and mindsets for one's own organization. Here the interaction between participants is of great added value. The groups are relatively small to stimulate interaction. Content interpretation is provided by AI experts from the field. The evening concludes with concrete steps to move forward with AI within the company.

For whom?

The master class is intended for directors and managers within (large) SMEs.

When?

On two evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the latest. There is a four-week period between the two evenings. For an optimal learning curve, it is recommended that you spend time and energy in the interim completing the Data Science Project Canvas.

Costs
