Agro Food Supply Chain Event: Working together for value in the chain

How do we make the agri-food chain future-proof? The answer lies in collaboration. That's why Supply Chain Valley Foundation, together with various agro(related) organizations and institutions, is organizing the Agro Food Supply Chain Event. A day where companies, supply chain partners and knowledge institutions meet, exchange ideas and get inspired to build a strong and sustainable agro food sector together. Keyport also supports this.

Why this event?

The challenges in the agro food chain are big and urgent: digitalization, circularity, carbon footprint, energy transition and food security. More than 80% of these issues are generic and transcend individual companies. Only by working together throughout the chain does true value creation arise. Or as the organizers emphasize, "Look beyond your own company, otherwise it won't work."

Morning - Company Visits (10:30 a.m.)

Please choose from two inspiring company visits, including lunch at the SCV Hub:

Noon - Speaker Program (from 12:30 p.m.)

After reception with coffee and flan, a series of five inspiring contributions will follow:

• Merijn Luijckx, Rabobank - Value creation (financial) comes from the chain
• Bas Boots, LLTB - Agro chain and food security
• Jaap Buis, Circular Plastics - Circular plastic chain: it can be done!
• Harrij Schmeitz, Innovation Food & Technology - Digitalization in the agri-food chain

Closing (5 p.m.) - Networking drinks

Thanks to contributions from sponsors, participation is free for members and relations of the organizations involved. In this way, the organization wants to encourage parties from primary production to participate as well.
