
Thursday, Oct. 12, Young Agrofood Professionals are welcome to attend an interesting afternoon on innovations in agriculture and horticulture.
This afternoon is organized together with BL.INC, a program of the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo, to help innovative ideas grow. You will get to know some start-ups that are developing their businesses through BL.INC and on campus, as well as experience how much innovative power the sector has and how this is facilitated regionally.

Has developed a modular (digital) pen system centered on the pig. The system provides a solution at the individual animal level for administering and recording vaccines, antibiotics, health monitoring and animal welfare. With a Health Injector, RFID ear tags, data transfer system in the slaughterhouses and Health System Cloud Solutions, the company ensures a closed medication administration.
Works for the crop protection and seed industry, conducting research on seed treatments for agriculture and horticulture. The startup, part of the Botany Group, is engaged in coating, priming and characterization of seeds for agriculture and horticulture.
Develops applications with plasma for sustainable solutions to replace chemistry in agriculture and horticulture. Plasma is ideal for disinfection as well as plant growth, germination and healing. It mildly and thoroughly disinfects water: it kills bacteria, viruses and fungi without chemistry.
