Hydrogen Works!

Hydrogen Works!

Grid congestion, limited capacity on the electricity grid and the need to become more sustainable are posing increasing challenges for businesses and public authorities. Full electrification is not always possible. What role, then, can hydrogen play? And where is it already being used successfully today?

On 4 November, LIOF, OML and PVB Limburg are organising the event ‘Hydrogen works!’. A day for entrepreneurs, businesses and local authorities who want to find out more about the practical possibilities and applications of hydrogen.

During the event, we will bring together knowledge, practical experience and concrete applications. Among other things, we will discuss hydrogen in industry and transport, regulations governing hydrogen installations, and the opportunities and challenges involved in the transition to hydrogen.

Inspiration and practical experience

Jorg Gigler | Moderator
As moderator, Jorg Gigler will guide us through the programme. With his many years of experience in the energy transition and his expertise in the field of hydrogen, he brings together the various perspectives and bridges the gap between knowledge, practice and discussion.

Ad van Wijk takes us through the development of the hydrogen economy and the role that hydrogen can play in the energy system of the future.

André Boer | HiDelta
André Boer shares his experiences from the MCEH2 hydrogen project in Sliedrecht and explains what is involved in practice in the development and application of hydrogen.

In addition, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and explore specific applications and challenges in greater depth during various in-depth sessions.
